Revitalization of the (old) Kämmerei
Final arrangements still have to be made before work starts in a few weeks' time on the renovation of the (former) municipal treasury building on Dusseldorf's market square. The building, which is listed as a historical monument, will be carefully revitalized and converted to new, attractive uses. The facade of the four-wing brick building from the 1950‘s will only be touched in select places.
After having redesigned the “Andreas Quartier”, the old Kämmerei is already the second historic and prominent site in the cityscape of Dusseldorf that sop architekten will revitalize in the heart of the historic inner city.
