CT² Center for Teaching and Training opens
Today’s formal opening of the CT² Center for Teaching and Training at RWTH Aachen’s Biomedical Engineering Cluster marks the official inauguration of the gateway building to its Campus Melaten. A highly versatile teaching facility containing a range of multi-functional spaces, it represents the prestigious first phase of this new site on RWTH’s Aachen Campus.
The stand-alone cube is sheathed in a polished metal skin which contrasts with the transparent frontage, suggesting a passageway through to the campus behind in line with the overarching architectural theme. Inside the 30m-long cube, an atrium complete with bridges, wide galleries and spacious open-study zones creates a world of communication and exchange, learning and research.
