New Hall 1 opens
Today sees the inauguration of Dusseldorf Messe’s new Hall 1 as the gates of the 82m-long, 20m-wide glazed foyer of the new southern entrance open for expopharm, its first trade show.
Self-supporting and measuring 12,000m², it now ranks among Europe’s most modern trade show venues and is currently being extended to include a number of modular conference areas. The transformation of the southern part of the site also includes an impressive new forecourt complete with a 7,800m² polygonal, translucent woven glass-fibre canopy, which is currently under construction.
