Construction Site Visit at Campus Melaten
Above-ground construction work is progressing rapidly for the new Innovation Center for Digital Medicine and the Education Academy for Midwives and Nursing Professionals, which are being built as part of the second construction phase of the Biomedical Engineering Cluster on RWTH Aachen’s Campus Melaten. The structural framework is already clearly visible.
This highly flexible educational and training facility, located next to the representative Center for Teaching and Training (CT²), consists of two interconnected structures: a 100-meter-long, four-story bar-shaped building with a dark façade and evenly arranged bands of windows, and a silvery shimmering cube in front of it that appears to float above its transparent entrance area.
