Renovation work on Hall 9
As part of the modernisation of its premises, Hall 9 at Messe Düsseldorf is undergoing extensive renovation and will be extended by 12 metres in length and around 2,000 square metres in area. In addition, the hall will be connected to a modern functional building with an information point, bistro and flexibly divisible conference and office space, which is currently being constructed in the middle of the exhibition grounds. In future, this building will also house a small exhibition first-aid station, the exhibition police station and a new caretaker's flat. Work on the hall itself will then begin in the summer. Among other things, it will be fitted with a new façade, lift and large-format sliding doors, and a new hall roof with transparent strips. The 3,500 m² construction site in the heart of the exhibition grounds has been in operation since the end of 2025 without restricting the daily running of the world's leading trade fairs.
