Fußballverband Niederrhein and the State of NRW lay the foundation stone for a new conference center
Last Friday, Andrea Milz, State Secretary for Sport and Volunteering of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, and FVN President Peter Frymuth, together with Manfred Abrahams, Treasurer of the FVN, laid the foundation stone for the new conference center of Sportschule Wedau. The transparent building, featuring modern and barrier-free seminar and training spaces as well as a restaurant, will in future form the new centerpiece of the sports school.
With a slightly cantilevered roof and an outdoor floor slab extending all the way around to the edge of the columns, the new central building will be given an elegant platform-like appearance. The restaurant and the flexibly divisible seminar spaces will provide ample room for staff, members, athletes, and for external events.
