With Timber Port, a sustainable and climate-friendly low-energy building in timber hybrid construction is being developed in Düsseldorf’s Media Harbor. The eight-story new office building features a timber structure that is reinforced with steel and concrete only in select areas. It includes an open and welcoming lobby, ground-floor gastronomy and retail units, as well as flexibly designed office spaces.
Inside, ample natural daylight, exposed timber surfaces, and a material selection aligned with circular principles create a pleasant and healthy working environment. An extensively greened biodiversity roof with a variety of plant species is complemented by additional landscaped terraces, offering future users attractive outdoor spaces for relaxation.
