Since 2021 Europe's largest Holiday Inn Express, a 3-star hotel with 455 rooms, stands right near Düsseldorf's main train station. The striking building completes a growing, new district of the city and its architecture skillfully responds to the shape of the site.

The curved facade follows the Moskauer Straße in front and creates a little square towards the residential neighborhood. The rounded shape of the building is emphasized by staggered elements of the white metal façade, that lines up like a ribbon. The fully glazed, 4.50 meter tall ground floor, on the other hand, creates flowing transitions between interior and exterior.
The new hotel, which has been certified with the DGNB green building rating in Gold, has an underground car park and a green roof.
