Shift in the Airport City
The new “Shift” office building in Düsseldorf's Airport City has been completed. The bar-shaped building, which catches the eye already from afar, has a metallic facade divided by staggered windows.
Terraces on the short side, tiered towards the top, and the transparent entrance areas give the building its exciting shape, emphasized by the matt, glossy facades. The flexible floor plan is supplemented by large outdoor areas. The energy performance of the building equates the “Gold” level of DGNB, the German Green building Council’s rating system.
