Düsseldorf gets a fully automated bicycle parking garage
The city's first bicycle parking tower is being built in Düsseldorf's Bilk district. In the coming months, an eleven-meter-tall structure with an illuminated glass facade will be erected in front of the local train station. It will house 120 bicycles and charging stations for e-bikes. The bicycle garage, 65m² in size, should be completed in the middle of next year. It is fully automated and offers commuters an uncomplicated switch to bicycles supporting a more sustainable city traffic.
