Belmundo receives “Gold” award from German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB).
Now it’s official: the five-storey Belmundo office building in Belsenpark, the “green” district to be built on the former railway goods yard in Dusseldorf’s Oberkassel district, has received the German Sustainable Building Council’s Gold award. The building stands at the entrance to this new quarter that will be criss-crossed by green ways and feature a central lake, where its folded roof structure and “monitors” – visible from many miles away – will set the design and architectural tone.
An efficient and innovative energy system designed to provide an optimally air-conditioned environment is just one part of the global sustainability plan devised for CA Immo Deutschland’s DGNB-certified “green building”.
